ABOUT US
Cliff Paul founded Ultimate Response in 2005 while active with a Chicago Suburban Police Department. While serving with the department, Mr. Paul specialized in patrol services and served as both a DARE and School Resource Officer.
Mr. Paul additionally served as Defensive Tactics Instructor. Additional service included Active Shooter Response Instructor and Martial Arts Instructor after earning a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a Blue Belt in the combat art Hom Do.
In addition to the above certifications, Mr. Paul holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education and an additional graduate degree in Public Safety. He is additionally certified by the state of Texas to instruct the License To Carry course and through the Private Security Board to certify students to enter the Security profession.
Mr. Paul is also a veteran of the U. S. Navy where he served both in the states and overseas. Deployed aboard the carrier USS Ranger CV-61, he was deployed twice including areas of the Persian Gulf and Central America during President Reagan's Gun Boat Diplomacy. Mr. Paul also served during Operation Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle after the events of 9/11.
Fun fact: The above picture was taken on the set of Chicago PD where he filmed more than 30 episodes between 2015 and 2018. The show used real cops from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for "background talent."
